What if cartoons could worship their creator, what would that sound like? Well some faith paradigms might consider this silly type of worship music in very poor taste. I must admit that cartoons and worship do not seem to go together. But if you ask any kid, they would tell you that it makes perfect sense. I think they might know better than us.
This song uses some religious terms that are popular among Christians but I think the song is generic enough that most parents of world faiths can find value in this song. Depending on the age of the children who listen and sing this song, I doubt the theological nuances will cause any problems.On a cultural and sociological level, this song touches on many of the cartoon characters of all Americans. This is part of what the average American grew up with and will provide touchstones for conversing with most adults. For the child in all of us, this song will be a very nice and enjoyable English lesson.
